Electronic pop band in the East Midlands, UK.  They harness styles of the eighties and nineties with elements of musicals and classical orchestral pieces. Paul’s anthemic synth and piano sounds complement Claire’s wide-ranging vocal styles and emotions, producing a symbiotic creativity that knows no bounds.

Their songs range from upbeat and dramatic to whistful and epic, interconnected by Claire’s energetic and uplifting vocals. The aim of the Sphere album is to feel free and have fun, but also to acknowledge that life can have its daunting or sorrowful moments. Ultimately, though, to embrace life.

Claire is a skilled writer and musician who has some background in classical training.  However her interest in music is emotional and intuitive rather than academic, and is driven by feeling rather than words.  She is interested in a wide variety of styles and genres from classical to jazz, to musicals, rock, dance and trance styles, to electronic pop music - particularly 80s and 90s music.  Claire enjoys experimenting with different styles and genres to highlight the kaleidoscope of ways of seeing and experiencing (e.g. "Freedom", "Moonlight").

Paul was trained as an orchestral violinist and later moved to singing in madrigal and operatic choirs - at one point being part of an operatic group backing Russell Watson at Nottingham Arena. Alongside this classical side, Paul loves electronic synthesiser sounds and drum machines - combining these influences to create lively and emotive pieces of music.
