Another new year is upon us, and we all have many memories from 2022 that will be kept forever. For some this year may have been about change and for others it could have been about wonder. But as we move on to 2023, I can only say thank you for all of your support!
I started the Pop Art Ave brand as an idea to make designs on t-shirts while listening to the awesome work of many indie musicians in the electronic music genre. This all came about due to extra time from the lockdown in 2020 and to see where it is now is crazy.
Today, the Pop Art Ave website is fully committed to promoting the indie musicians and record labels worldwide in the many genres of electronica. I could list them all here, but it would take a lot of time.
The beginning of 2022 saw this website featuring many reviews, interviews and new releases followed by a YouTube series called 'The Beat On The Street.' After making 16 episodes of that show combined with 'The 4th Sector' and 'Let's Talk Music' episodes, there are a lot of videos I put out this year. Within the past few weeks, I put another idea out into cyberspace by creating a new internet radio station called IEM which stands for Indie Electronic Music. This radio station will be on 24 hours a day and you can listen to it here, on Google Play or on its website here: Indie Electronic Music (citrus3.com)
There will be new releases added from Aztec Records, Retro Reverb Records, Future 80's Records, PurZynth Records, Outland Recordings plus more labels and musicians. 2023 will be another fun year in music and I hope you stay along for the ride as we keep experiencing the evolution of electronic music.
